Specifying Sales Engineer

Note: These duties defined are intended to be guide as to the expectations desired for this role, however this list of duties may be modified due to the needs uncovered to better serve the engineers we intend to target.

Below is a list of duties for this role:

  1.   Define engineer account priorities A,B,C using the updated Jascko Account listing. Your designated accounts must contain:
    1. a.  A-Accounts 15 Minimum
    2. b.  B-Accounts 15 Minimum
    3. c.  C- Accounts 15 Minimum
  2.   Develop regularly scheduled meetings with engineers at an interval no less than the following based on their account priority:
    1. a.  A- Weekly Meetings (4 Times per month)
    2. b.  B- Bimonthly Meeting (2 Times per month)
    3. c.  C- Minimum 1 time per quarter (1 Time per month)
  3.   Specifying Sales Engineer is expected to position all Jascko Products and solutions, with exception of Carrier solutions when account is led by Carrier Sales Engineer, to drive Basis of Design (BOD) for projects being developed by engineer.
  4.   Specifying Sales Engineer must be proficient in all Jascko offerings to have the proper technical aptitude to assist MEP engineers. Specifying Sales Engineer must remain current on all products, so they are required to interact with factory technical resources, as well as Jascko leadership to identify any potential gaps to define a path to close these gaps.
  5.   Specifying Sales Engineer will be expected to conduct the following activities in their role:
    1. a.  Monthly Lunch and Learns: Minimum 2 per week
    2. b.  Plant visits: Minimum 2 per quarter
    3. c.  ASHRAE Local Chapter: Attend Monthly Meetings and secure minimum 2 speaking engagements per year for Jascko Products or services
    4. d.  Note: All Lunch and Learn and plant visit expenses must be approved by Sales Manager for reimbursement.
  6.   Weekly call/meeting schedule will be submitted to Sales Manager
  7.   Bi/Weekly One on One Meetings with Sales Manager to monitor progress as well as discussions on how to improve services to MEP clients.
  8.   Specifying Sales Engineer must develop and maintain an ongoing and rolling $10,000,000.00 Pipeline.
  9.   Basis of Design (BOD) Compensation will be as follows:
    1. a.  BOD Projects Bid during Quarter: Total Jascko Bid x 0.5%
    2. b.  BOD Projects Secured during Quarter: Total Jascko Contract Amount x 0.25%
    3. c.  Compensation to be paid within 30 days of end of Quarter.
